CNY is officially over! somehow i was fortunate to be able to spend this year's cny...though cny gets dull over time...theres still the steamboat and snacks to look forward too...red packets :D play alot of mahjong during cny had meet up with friends...lou yu sheng and nw its the start of march...which means only 1 thing...i m goin bk to sunny island again for 2 weeks! Gonna miss family and friends so so much...

198 days more...the number is getting smaller yet my days with the association is getter harder and harder!

In a few hours time...i will be off to sunny island for 2 weeks...this is just like the time when i was enlisted...2 weeks confinement...it's not tt long yet it seems tt long...arh...i guess i will spend this 2 weeks working on my fitness...do more runs and gym whenever free and psp and handphone will be there to kill off my sian-ness...im so gonna miss my family and friends...ARH! enough of this sad thingy...lets talk abt happy stuff...

had a wonderful weekend...spent my saturday shopping with one of my best buddy for cny clothes before meeting up with eemay and yeeling for dinner and more shopping! Feels good to catch up with friends who i have not seen for ages...

and sunday was an early family reunion dinner for me as on the 13th i wun be back home so yeah...simple, happy and enjoyable...and to cap off this wonderful weekend...man united beat arsenal 3-1...woots!

was supposed to meet deren, jiamin and louis for dinner today, but somehow things have to crop up...phone call come and it is a call i cant ignore...im sorry guys! hope to see u guys during cny and u guys have a great time tonite...

Year 2009 was a great year with so many 21st birthday! December holidays are officially over...December was in fact one of the best of 2009, spending my time re-playing dota with friends, soccer, shopping, basketball, mahjong, eating good food etc etc...nw its back to work...back to emo island for 1 week! abit sian but well its 9 more months...endure!

Meet one of my sniper mate for supper at 85 yesterday...it's hard to find people out on weekdays as that was what both of us experienced...our schedule are likt the total opposite of others...haha

Had some cold beer and food and a good talk over our ns life and other general stuffs...

After that i had a long walk home from 85...walked pass the familar route listening to taylor swift's songs on my ipod and memories started to flow in...the route i used to walk her home...the laughter we shared...those days...sweet

I m OUT! OUT OF CAMP!!! YAY!

I am really happy to be able to come out after 9 days of confinement in camp due to h1n1...toilet paper was running low so was shampoo body wash facial wash and underwears...time was hard to pass in camp as we were restricted mostly to our bunks...

but during this 9 days, i felt the bunk got closer together as we helped each other survived through the 9 days...psp and poker cards gt all of us together as it is our only form of entertainment in bunk, bridge or aka "bridging" was the game that was taught to everyone and nw we need to bring in more decks of cards as it is a hot favourite game in bnk to kill time now...playing basketball and soccer together too brought us closer together...the laughter we shared, the complains we made, the singing and dancing around...so that was how we made the 9 days passed by swiftly :D

Was at conrad for jia qun's 21 birthday...mus say tt the view frm the 22nd storey was good...played bridge with the gang before playing nintendo wii and i must it was so addictive...played all the way till morning 6am without sleeping...wii really works ur body...mostly the arms...a really interactive console! after wii-ing we started to talk among ourselves until 9 plus before we walked out of conrad like zombiess... butit was good time spent and worthwhile!

As requested and reminded to update my blog so here i am...life has been very relax for the past two weeks as i was on course which means 8 to 5 and stay out...haha but nw course ended and i m going back to camp and the training programme is hectic...sian...anyway was playing alot of basketball recently and played again at siglap and bcc with bs and deren...after ending our session at bcc, bs and deren went into the toilet to wash up while i sat outside drinking my ice cool root beer...and when deren came out 1st...he told me there was a gay staring at them...hahahha and when bs came out...the gay followed...his action and body language really shows tt he is 1...broken wrist is just 1 of the super obvious action when he is walking around...i hang around with bs until deren came bk frm changing b4 we leave bcc for lunch in bedok...in the evening i went back to bcc for another round of ball with my cousin and guess who i saw again...yes..it's mr gay loitering around near the toilet...OMG la...i had to 'ren' my pee until he disappear becoz i was afraid too...as bs said in the noon wat if he go touch your back and pull dwn ur pants...what wld you do??? haha thats all abt me for nw...cya soon

It's been some time since i blogged, so much has happened...1st i have successfully passed out from SAFSC...which means i m a sniper! yay! 2nd...my 21st birthday was a blast...even though i was the one getting bashed up at 1st, i did get my revenge in the end...muhahhahaha and i really appreciated friends and relatives who took time out and celebrated this day with me...and of course not forgetting the presents i received...4 new tees, a watch from citizen, a drinking game, 3 bottles of red wine( 2 were finished up at the chalet), a braun buffel wallet, a pair of addidas basketball shoe, a fossil belt, a XXX magazine, a homemade video which was very touching, quite a lot of red packets hehe...thanks alot to u guys! Really like the presents and enjoyed the day...

The weather now is dark and rainy = my mood nw coz the weekends are over and i gotta book in soon...and for next saturday which is vee's bday celebration, i m goin outfield and might not be able to make it to her party...sucks...

Anyway this week, went to orchard with deren and bing sheng to shop for vee's bday present, it's a difficult task indeed as she seem to hv almost everything...haha but we roughly hv an idea what we will get for her already...and there was the grand final of man hunt singapore at the hereen...too bad louis was not around...so we called and disturbed him hahahahaha...we are evil lols

Had dinner at fish and co and the platter for 2 seems to have upsize but the food was fantastic...after dinner and watching finish the manhunt...it was earth hour and some places went into darkness, we were invited to go up to the 7th storey of wisma and look at the stars since it was earth hour and the place was dark...after that we were so tired already after walking around in town so we decided to go home and rest...but i ended up dota-ing with the click hahahha it was fun...been a while since we played together...

Soccer, Movie, Curry and Foodfair...

Played soccer in the morning at simei with slackerz, was fun, been awhile since i sweat it out coz there no pt done in camp as we are very bz with other form of training...

And i finally went to a gv to watch a movie, its been like 3-4 months since i watched a movie in gv...watched detroit metal city with chao liang and yh and the show is good, its a very relax and comedy show...jus makes me laugh hahahha

After that we met deren at clark quay and went to try out Mr Curry, a japanese curry restaurant...and the food was good...there are so many variety of food that we dunno what we wana order...they provide 4 kinds of curry...creamy was the 1 tt every1 liked, the rich curry was unique...and the original was good too...

Den after dinner, we went to suntec food fair exhibition, more food again yes...we bought korean bbq sotong, tutu kueh and oyster mee sua...hahhaha and of course we went around sampling all the rest of the food like ba kua, drinks, milk, apples etc etc before we headed to marina square's subway to look 4 eric but apparently hes not there, maybe he is on off so we went home after that...

Man u lost again...to fulham...2-0...the match was unbearable as scholes and rooney were sent off and united was not playing like themselves...whats happening ar man united...dun throw away the title pleaseeeee...jiayou...

Its another long week to weekends...wonder wat we will be doing nxt week...hopefully everyone will be free and we will see wat we can do...till then...

Met yh mark and deren on sat, went to teo heng and sing K...its been awhile since we sang and this time we also selected funny songs and laughed out loud...lols after that went to ashton for dinner before going to yh hse to watch the big match between man utd and liverpool, cl and bs joined us too...

The result of the match was unbearable for a man utd fan like me...losing at home 1-4 is just too much... man utd had majority of possession but was lacking the final ball while liverpool capitalised on defensive errors of vidic and punished man utd...credit to them took their chances well...the title is still man utd's to lose but i hope this will be a wake up call for them and they will fight until the end for the title...

Will be hetic in camp from this week onwards and the only thing that motivates me is weekends and u guys out there :), u know who u all are...programmes for next weekend will be to go out and celebrate birthday for the March babies...till thennnnnnn

booking in again...how time flies...spent my friday night by having dinner with my family and dota-ing with yh, cl and mark before having a good rest on my cosy bed...felt so good when u are at home...

Spent sat out with louis, chao liang, deren, bing sheng and yh...went vivo and had marche...yummy...was supposed to watch a movie but the seatings were bad and nobody wanna catch a late night movie so we ended up having dinner and going back home...although time spent was short...it was still worthwhile...really enjoyed going out with u all =)

Louis's 21st birthday at Mel's Place was definitely a blast! Had a great time over there last night with the bday boy louis, deren, bing sheng, yh, cl, clement, darryl, jk, mark, vanessa, ren feng, yen rong, kevin, cheryl jo, zhi xuan, clarissa, siazi and bf, eehan, yihui, soo guan, rey, louis's family and friends(did i miss out on anyone? lols)

things started slowly at the beginning as not much people came on time due to personal reasons...but once the crowd arrived, it was all party time...haha we talked, chatted, played pool, ate good food and drank...and before u knew it...louis was already a goner before the clock strikes 12 am...he had beer,tequila shots, vodka shots, waterfall and a graveyard which really sent him into a graveyard...hahahaha but he managed to control and stay awake until 12 to cut his cake and take photos (*clapsss) after which he had another flamming lamborgini which i think really knocked him out...hahah 1st time seeing my best friend in this goner state...lols

It was really a heart warming night for everyone there, it's been awhile since everyone took time off their busy schedule, gathered and had fun like this...Really enjoyed myself and i bet everyone else did...hopefully we will have more gatherings and meeting up together =D Looking forward to next week mahjong session!

For now it's back to packing up for and getting ready to go back to camp...zZz keep in touch and tkc guys!

Really looking forward to louis's 21st this coming saturday...even though i haven tot of wat to get for him yet...lols (dun kill me louis, i promise i will get something done...) it's really a chance for everyone to gather and celebrate his birthday, to have fun to catch up...a time to forget abt army and jus relax and enjoy...

i wished i could have more time this weekend to go look for louis present, rest at home and relax...but due to family day this sat in camp, i can only be free after the whole event is over which is about noon time plus all the ad hoc things to do after the event, who knows what time i can be freeeee? 1 word SIAN arrrr....

Hopefully something/someone or watever can grant me my wish tt i m not required in camp this sat so that i can hv a longggg weekend! (not really optimistic about this though)

8 weeks of BSLC has ended and i have been posted out to a new unit...all i wanna say is that this 8 weeks was very fruitful and memorable...

But now...in a new environment, i guess i am still not used to it...i m missing sispec life...especially the people whom i have worked, slacked, played and fought with for the 8 weeks...

Had a few conversations on msn and realised that most if not all nsf miss their civilian life too...missed the talk cock sessions, gatherings, slacking, playing etc etc...

Although time is not on our side like what we used to have in our studying days...we can still make time out on the weekends to meet up and enjoy ourselves :D...haha

So for now, let us all get use to the life now and eventually life will get better cause the sun will always come out after the rain...Jiayou everyone!

In a few hours time, it's book in again...sian man...been in the forest for 10+ days or so...came back spent some time with family and friends and now have to go back in again...siannn ar...i really miss my friends and family during the 6 days 5 nights in the forest, especially my family...the days in forest was tough and challenging but i managed to survive through together with my platoon by constantly keeping ourselves happy, talking cock and encouraging one another and constantly reminding myself that i will be able to see my loved ones soon...Lastly tough time don't last...tough man do!

I wan more time in the civilian world...there are so many things i wanna do, so many ppl i wanna meet up with - the 2/4 gang, the poly clicks, my relatives/cousins, and you you you...and to spend more time with my family...

A Soldier Experience

Been in the army for 3 weeks liao...can say that its a new experience...army life can be fun because alot of other ppl go through the shit with you...during free time can talk cok and have fun with your section mates...but it can be sian because it is really taxing on the body and you will wake up everyday feeling here ache there ache...aot of rules to follow and anyone or anything goes wrong will lead to 3 words knock it down...you will also miss ur civilian life coz it is so free and easy...

In the end, it depends on how you look at it...be positive and soon it will be another book out day...haha so just suck it up it camp and enjoy when back on mainland...booking in soon...the sian feeling is slowly creeping in...jus gotta LUN and get it over to next week...jiayou!

In a few hours time, i will be carrying my bagpack and heading off to tekong to be a soldier...

It's quite hard to describe the feeling i am experiencing now...erm...jitters, feeling sian are just part of it...and thinking abt the unknown life that's gonna begin tmr...it brings a little of question mark as to will i be able to adapt, what will happen, how will my bunk mates be like etc...yet it's also something to look forward to since it's once in a lifetime experience...

Aunty and uncle called me...felt touched...slackerz is there, good friend eleanor is there, louis, iain, deren, bing sheng and many more... thanks everyone for the advices and well wishes...miss me cos i will miss you all =)

So, it's goodbye to freedom of life and hello to the next chapter that every guy has to go through...tkc everyone and i will be back! And I hope everything goes well for the next three months for me and everyone who is enlisting...

The Frog...

I know this frog since p5 through my nephew...so its abt 9 yrs or more already...how time flies...

It started off with playing soccer with them and soon we proceed to the small arcade behind the frog's house almost weekly...den the next stage saw me and the frog beginning to 'fight'...i cant remember why we fought but we jus attacked, whack and more famously headbutted each other until both have baluku on the forehead...soon i went out with them more and more soccer and here we are...

I am enlisting 2 days from now while he's still headbutting me for no reason hahahaha...very grateful to have a friend like this...advicing me about army...calling me shit and talking lotsa cock with me, not to say the soccer, the cage, the winning eleven, dbz, fragging, the kbox we had...all the fun and jokes we had...it was all great...

But now the frog genna virus...the W and C virus...how sia? i also cant save him liao...so slackerz please watch over him...later i come back tampines explode very sad lo...haha C virus can be cured 1...i cured it myself so u also can 1...W virus only i have the solution...haha but i will be away...so i think the best solution to ur W virus is the J medicine...it will keep u under control...J medicine good lah...be a good frog dun become evil...if u itchy...disturb me more...hahahahaha i will cure your itch...and dun imagine too much coz it is very unlikely ur imagination will happen...hahahahhahaha

It's been a while since i updated this blog of mine...what am i doing after quiting? haha very simple answer...eat, sleep, play...and counting down to enlistment day...have been playing winning eleven, suikoden 3, dota, combat arms, mahjong and eating whatever i feel like...mood now still very slack and not thinking alot...perhaps it will start when i am like 3 days away from enlistment haha

Ok, enuff abt myself, let's see... the past week i went out with yh to shop for army stuffs den i went back tp with yw to eat...other than that, i have been at home playing suikoden 3 most of the time...on friday, met up with yw, daniel and alvin for dinner at waraku...eleanor was supposed to meet us too but due to unforseen circumstances, she could not make it...it was supposed to be a birthday dinner for yw as well as farewell dinner for me and vin...haha but well i rather take it as a gathering...after dinner, we headed to coffee club to meet yw's friends...they are going to double o...daniel has to work the next day so he went home while me and alvin was not too keen to go but end up there due to losing a coin toss to yw...

Eleanor fetched me and vin there while the rest took cab...she stayed with us for a while outside coz she also have to go back zouk for her friend's party...after she left...we all went in...let the pictures do the talking, i am lazy to type...

Must say it is an eye opener for noob clubbers for me and alvin...some of the guys there jus dun understand the meaning of zhi dong...and keep on disturbing the same girls when the girls say no or have elbowed them off...so end up me and vin became shields...moving around and shielding the girls from the hungry guys...and we yo ah yo our night away...after it ended...had bak gu teh before cabbing home...

P.S never dance beside the speaker...coz the ears will have this ringing sound for a few days and everything tt u hear will sound very blur...it's quite irritating also...

4 hours of sleep and i am off for soccer, legs totally no strenght to kick ball...touch oso gone...miscontrolled everything...after soccer went teo heng straight to meet deren, yh, louis and bs and sang to 4pm...went walk walk in parkway before having dinner at ashton...went home after tt for a quick bath and rush to yh house for mahjong...came home at 1am...KO

Mooncakes and Thoughts

I was very happy to receive a box of mooncakes from my company yesterday! The mooncakes are from sherantan towers in orchard and they taste pretty good :D

And work will be officially ended in 2 days time...come to think of it...i have been in the company for like nearly a year...4months of internship, 2 months part time after internship and mid march 08 till nw...enjoy working in the company with all the nice people around me...definitely will miss this place...tkc people and may the business grows!

Enlistment looms and i have yet to buy the stuffs for NS...haha will buy some of them in chinatown before leaving the company coz it's cheaper to buy here...hehe

olympics,epl and viwawa!

Weather has been very cold this few days...rain and rain and rain...so i stayed home during the weekends and we viwawa-ed hahaha...played wahjong with cl, yh, yh's bro and xy...haha quite fun actually...since cant play real life mahjong den we play online lo...hahaha

Olympics is really great! So many fantastic atheletics and the closing ceremony was as good as the opening...so olympics has officially ended and we have to wait another 4 years to London 2012...where more records will be broken...

Epl continued this week...liverpool played poorly yet they won, carragher's heavily deflected shot was lucky, gerrard's winning goal was fantastic yet for the 85min or so, boro looks to be deserving winner...so my conclusion is the ball is round and luck favours the home team! haha...arsenal were made to look mediocre by a determined fulham and lost 1-0...Epl is really a tough league...anything can happen...while chelsea jus beat wigan 1-0 thanks to a briliantly taken free kick by deco...but for the rest of the 90min after the goal, they did not hv much of a sniff at the wigan's goal while wigan attacked and attacked yet they can't score...where's the supposedly attacking play of chelsea given the talents of lampard, ballack, deco, jole cole, anelka? Why are they chasing for the ball in the game??? Are they back to the old chelsea which is to get one goal and close doors??? or is it just inconsistenty on their part??? So by watching the matches, 1 thing is for sure, anything is possible so expect the unexpected! Man united will play pompey tmr and i still have a bad feeling about it...We really need to step it up!!! GO GO MAN U!

It's into the last week of working, 2 weeks of rest and it's another new chapter of life...time really flies...

EPL is back...Chelsea looked very impressive with a 4-0 victory while liverpool and arsenal laboured to 1-0 victories...but the defending champion man united was held to a draw 1-1 by newcastle...bad start for them...frustrating for the fans to watch...zzz

Without key players, man u really look very poor just like last season when arsenal had injuries all over and chelsea hv players off to the african cup...sumore after the game against newcastle, carrick n giggs were taken off due to injuries and vidic looked to have hurt his knee but played out the match though...more troubles 4 united...

Next week man u travel to portsmouth, and i really dun have high hopes of them winning...let's just see what will happen nxt week...good nite

Weekends Update

Had a fun and enjoyable weekend... Morning went to play soccer at simei with slackerz, den had to rush home , bath quickly and rush down to teo heng for a ktv session with the sec sch gang of deren, yh, clement, bs, louis, cl and xy...after that we went to lan while cl and xy went gai gai...lan was not tt good after all...cannot play bnet for dota...ended up playing cs which was quite fun but it gets boring over time...so yh suggested a 4 v 1 dota...haha we played 2 rounds of that in which we won once and yh won once...went to cha chan ting for dinner, the food not bad but price abit over...zzzz and after dinner i rushed home again, packed my stuffs and went to kallang cage for soccer...reach home at abt 4am...took a bath n sleep...

Sunday was supposed to play field soccer with clement and gang but i injured my left ankle on sat so i cant play...was super tired too...so i met deren for lunch at bedok after the soccer before spending the rest of the day slacking at home.

Hell Running

It's the 1st time i agreed to run with my neighbour...and i swear its good to hv someone to push u on and motivate u when u are gone in the run~

i ran for 50 minutes around the neighbourhood...it's the 1st time i ran so much and so long...i swear i could hv walked or take a break but due to my new partner's constant pushing, it kinda influenced me to keep going...so i did...the process is tough but the product is great...though it is really tiring but den the sastisfaction u get from "it's the 1st time i managed to last so long and did not stop" just unexplainable...i will slowly build from here and hopefully make improvements so more running sessions soon, partner...

i am off to bed to recover now...good night...

Soccer in the morning with the slackerz was followed by a gathering with deren, cl, yh, bs and louis...hahah yes he booked out frm tekong...looks more dark and funny in botak...hahahhahaha i am laughing nw coz i know come september, it's their turn to laugh at me...lols had lunch at the super hot aijisen, think their aircon gt problem...den watched batman - the dark knight...i must say this is a very good show compared to all the superhero movie...the story, the twist, everything lah...2.5hours was worth it. Looking 4ward to the coming saturday gathering again, it's time to lan and karaoke!!!

Met up with keshia, serene and cz to have an advanced birthday celebration for keshia...went vivo and dine in hog breathe...the food was good especially their steak haha...And as usual, those girls just cant stop talking abt funny stuffs like how it feel to get hit by a soccer ball at the *toot...is it like their cramps, den hit already will burst anot...say burst le must collect the specimen and it can be used to make into facial cream that has the colour of barley water...really cannot tahan them but well its a fun batch of ppl to be with...

Next we went barkerzin and a surprise was planned 4 the soon to be bday girl...First the tapaz ice cream and banana crumble was pre ordered already, and the waitress who brought us to our seats had a face as black as bao qing tian...next serene and cz gave an excuse to go to the counter to see what they wan, leaving me and kesh alone at the table...suddenly miss bao qing tian appeared with the tapaz and ice creams and kesh was stunnn and said we nv order...and i jus play act all the way...and poor miss bao qing tian leveled up and become blacker and left the table...den serene came back...and after 5 minutes another waiter came with the tapaz and ice creams and again kesh said we did not order, i play act coz cz is still nowhere to be seen until serene say it's ours...and surprise suprise...its 4 the soon to be bday girl! Hope u like ur prezzies and surprise haha and happy 20th birthday in adv...older and wiser...

Today's topic is oooonnnnn - the latest craze going on between the slackerzzz... wat? u dunno? Gambling ~~!!

Chill chill, u punters dun get all excited... coz it's not about betting soccer, 4d, toto, horse racing, F1 or anything else but another aspect of gambling in our daily lives. It does not involve money. Rather, it involves a nice name called hweeeling.

Eg 1: When we have hweeling for someone, we r unsure of that person's hweeling for u, what u do? u take a gamble, a gamble to whether wana try to work things out or not, whether u wana give urself a chance or not.. if u win this gamble, u can use ur winnings for the next proceedings.

Eg 2: Next up, u gamble on those with higher odds, more risk = more profits. Gamble on the challenge of knowing more and developing more hweeling for each other, see if they really are the ones for u. Slowly ask for dates, chatting or sms'es aplenty. This is a gamble of many many rounds.

Morning, soccer at st wilfred...was okie but very hot...and the joke really did some jokes on the pitch, can use right leg dun want, use left leg, very fancy but did not pass properly or scored with his left leg...hahahha...

Den at night was dinner at 85 with yh,deren,mark,bing sheng,loy,eric li and his love :D was great...congrats to eric...and i haven eat so much food for such a long time already...

Let's see...we ordered satays, stingray, ooooo luah, ba chor mee, ah balling, chicken wings, sugar cane drinks...haha did i miss out on anything else? Feeling hungry alreadyyyyy....lunch time sooon...yeah!

Met up with deren, clement and yh for a singing session at teo heng...haha it was fun singing with them as we haven sing in a long time together...clement was the joker again as he sang until his voice goes haywire...very funny...every1 laugh...we decided to sing because we were sort of influnced by 超级星光大道 1, 2 and 3 as the songs they sang in the show very nice...yh left early as he had to attend to his grandmother's dinner and the remaining 3 of us had dinner in the food court before we went home...

Met up with mp13 at vivo plus Kesh for Shereen's farewell dinner as she is going off to Aussie...had dinner at the mussels guys...it was not too bad...the thing abt mp13 is they can really talk about anything and i mean ANYTHING...haha funny to chat wif them...after which they shopped while i floated behind them before going home...

And now, the company hired 2 new staffs and my workload is reduced by half...feels so slack in office nw...yawnssss...friday is coming soon...look forward to soccer on sat but its from 11-1pm...i think i m going to be a roasted duck...but who cares...soccer is funnnnnn

Met up with Keshia and Shereen for Shereen's belated birthday dinner at sushi teh, vivo city. Serene and Cz could not make it coz 1 was sick while the other was tired after 3 days of diving...hahah it was my first time eating in sushi teh and i felt it was nice...after eating, we went around walking in vivocity, the girls did their shopping, i went around doing window shopping, played some table soccer which i won...2 vs 1 and i won heheheh....5-4 but well its still a victory for a noob like me as its my 2nd or 3rd time playing it...got scolded for "penging satay" with the table soccer as it is a foul??? hahah i duno...but i think it is more like "penging chicken wings" instead of satay...haha after everything, we all went home and rest...

Talked quite alot as eehan will be enlisting today...long time nv see vin oso, he is quitting soon and going to condition his body for NDU while i think i should also do some preparation for my enlistment in September...hahaha if not go in sure buay dong...

Met up with louis, yh and vanessa at far east square, somewhere near me and yh's workplace to have a simple and farewell lunch for louis before he goes in today also. We had japanese cuisine. Will help you with ur favour, louis and take ur time on the blogskin...i am in no hurry to change it :)

In the office right nw, nothing to do, yawns...louis enlisted, eehan also, brian also, ivan too daniel tmr and many more also going in during this week, msn will have lesser and lesser ppl to tok cok with...lesser dota, lesser going out...jus wanna say u all take care of urself in tekong, dun let anything happen to u guys and come back 2 weeks from nw safely...see u guys 2 weeks from nw take care and i will miss u all...

Meanwhile i announced the reopening of The East Dimbaland...things have been smooth sailing so far this few days...althought it's still long before The Dimbaland can be rebuilt...but at least we now have more sampans and a few destroyers ships back...next aim is the battlecruiser and den The Dimbaland...hahahahahaha me and my partner in crime, the froggg, will conquer again and return to our glory daysss...

Amazing Tennis Played...Amazing Voice...

What a Wimbledon Men's Tennis Singles Final last night!!! Nerves and tension were everywhere for the supporters of both men and in the end, Rafael Nadal defeated Roger Federer in a thrilling 5 sets tennis. The match started around 930pm and I ended up sleeping at 430am...it was the longest men's singles final...4h 30min or so...and with play suspended 2 times due to rain, therefore the game ended at 430am.

Nadal started the match strongly with his ripping forehand shots and accurate passes while Fed made a patchy start, showing only glimspes of his magical tennis at times as Nadal's powerful groundstrokes from the baseline forced the Swiss ace into making uncharacteristic errors. Fed's backhand was poor and it leads him to losing points to the whipping forehand of Nadal. Thus Nadal took the first 2 sets 6-4 6-4.

Everything seemed gloom and doom for Roger as he vented his anger on the court when he made errors. It's very unusual to see him lose his cool but at that moment, it seems like the world number 1 totally has no answers to Nadal's gameplan and the pressure is getting into his head.

But Fed dug deep, held serve, changed his strategy by using more of his backhand slice shots to force Nadal into tougher returns and returned more with his forehand shots which was a weapon that does damage to Nadal in the third and forth sets to force them into tie breakers. Nadal has his chances to close out the game in the 4th set tie breaker during his serve but a nervy double fault and a moment of magic from Fed meant that the game is going into the 5th and final set with no tie breakers.

Nadal certainly looked stronger in every aspects of the game and is always getting close to breaking Federer during his serve. Federer was really clinging on. At times, he look imperious coming up with fantastic shots that amazed the crowd...yet at times he was also made clueless by Nadal, looking into the heavens, thinking how Nadal managed to run and make a recovery so fast...Looking for an answer...Finally at 7-7, Nadal broke the Fed serve and went on to serve out for his first Wimbledon Championship...The king of grass has been dethroned after five straight years on the throne...

But please give credit to these two men for such a wonderful tennis, full of drama as well...

I personally salute Roger Federer for digging deep when he was down 2 sets because he fought back bravely, not willing to surrender so easily without a fight despite all the pressure and frustrations he faced on the court...No doubt, Federer's grit and determination helped him through the course of the 3rd and 4th set...

Credit has to be given to Rafael too, he worked hard, showed in previous matches that he is almost flawless, if not perfect...he improved his serve alot, came close to defeating Federer last year and he finally does it this year...Up 2 sets and losing the next 2 sets instead of closing out the match, claming his first title when the opportunity was there for him...i wondered what was going through Rafael's mind at that moment...

Both men showed great mental strength and toughness to fight on and not willing to admit defeat until the last moment...they are great rivals who showed sportsmanship and respect for each other after the game...

Play basketball over the weekends with deren, bing sheng, brian, daniel, ah liang, willie, mark, yh, clement and lexter. For the 1st time, there were so many people coming down to play which is great. Haha we had a 5 v 5 full court game and i swear it was really tiring to run up and down the court...but extremely fun :D enjoyed it...After basketball, played abit of soccer with some kids before going to have lunch and went to watch Handcock...It was a good show as there is some twist and turns in the storyline...Humour is also available in the show...and Charlize Theron is hot in the show...went home to rest as i felt sick after everything...

Today, frog and chye came over to play winning eleven as usual...nothing much happened except that my handphone and myself were "raped" again...other than that, it was just a gaming day...haha

Dinner plus singing on Friday, JB trip and Kallange cage on Saturday...

Met up with Serene, Iain and Keshia on Friday after work to have dinner at Wisma. We ate at the Deluxe Bakerzin or something along that line, cant really remember but the waitress friendly hahahaha....After that, the girls did some shopping at Zara as there was a sale and bought some clothes. Iain wanted singing so we went back to Kampong Chai Chee CC which is opposite my house to K. Haha we sang from 1030pm to 130am and the last half an hour was pure highness. Serene's boyfriend picked her up after the singing and i walked the other 2 to draw $$ and they cabbed home. It was 230am when i reached home. Bathed and slept for 5 hours before waking up to prepare to go to JB.

Met Chye at bedok inter to tk 168 to woodlands, had to drop off at tam coz the other 2 were late... met the bull and frog at tam, waited for another 168, boared it and frog's princess hoped on it to meet us. Off to woodlands inter we went. Reached Woodlands inter, the old dog and his ling -er joined us and we boared a bus to The customs. There were too many cars going into JB thus we had to walked to the customs. And in 30 to 45 min , we reached JB, city square. Changed some ringgit and went off to sing again...hahah...During singing, the frog suffered chest pains and was feeling uncomfortable...but luckily he was alright after a while...The branch set i had at the karaoke was called "ants climbing up the tree"...Wondered wats that??? Its actually tong fen with alot of sesame seeds...hahah funny namefor a dish like this...After that we did some shopping and had lunch at secret receipe...Had a fried chicken with lotsa cheese and the chocolate banana cake...it was simply fabulous... The fantastic cake....

After that, we continued to shop, saw a small dance competition in the mall and people were actually dancing around the stage while the competitors competed. And soon night falls so we went to eat zhi char in malaysia. I swear it was the best zhi char i had so far...i was supposed to tk the pics of all the dishes but due to the fact tt everyone was hungry and jus started eating when the food came thus i only took a few... The big watermelon juice...

After the dinner, the boss gave us 2 free coconuts, the inside of the coconut was actually jelly, so i guessed its 2 jelly coconuts? hahah we were all very full after the dinner and i was saying my "oil tank" overflow liao but becoz of the fact that they taste so delicious, i jus keep on going...After dinner, went back to secret receipe to buy their cakes for myself as well as my friends...Bought gums too...And we reached Singapore and home around 930pm...packed bag changed up and i am off again to meet them up for soccer at kallang cage...

Haha but before caging, we went to be monkey catchers yet again, haha and carpark H of ECP nv fails to deliver...This time, we saw 2 couples smooching and going to do it...a few cars with newspaper pasted on the windows..a few lorries oso covered...haha we highed beam directly and 2 ppl smoking were smoking in the car stared at us...and off we go to kallang cage...Sometimes i really wondered...Doing in the car really so shiok?? not cramped? or they jus simply wan to save $$ on hotels or jus thier house not accessible??

Reached kallang cage, ran my heart out, felt totally shagged after 2 hours of soccer...scored goals...fell down...concede goals...sweat it out and feels so shoik...During this 2 hours, the body was already failing from fatique and only the mind kept it going...Reached home at 4 took a bath and slept at 430am all the way to 1pm before going out for lunch and to pass the cakes to friends...Had a discussion on general life during lunch and it was great...new views and knowledge gained...after lunch reached home KO frm 330pm to nw...i m going off for dinner le...byebye blog

Read it again on my soccer friends blog and found it real meaningful so here goes...

A student asks a teacher, "What is love?" The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the padi field and choose the biggest padi and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

It was 3 weeks since i touched a soccer ball...and yesterday finally had an soccer outing with the 8 slackerz...it was great coz i finally get to sweat it out, run around the court, dribble the ball, and get a goal with my head...woohoo...

After soccer, we went home, bath, and came out again to catch the movie "you don't mess with the zohan" at ps...Haha it was a fantastic movie, just keep on laughing all the way...should go watch it if u haven...after that the 8 of us went kbox for the k dinner and singing. It was really high especially with Landy's 热浪 playing, we all started to dance around and make the room like a disco by adjusting the lights...hahahah and i was headbutt and "rape" yet again...lols Jay's 阳光宅男 was the song of the day as everyone jumped around and sing...feels like it was my concert with all of them as my fans cheering and screaming away...just so fun and enjoyable last night...and happy birthday Chye! and hopefully all of us will Huat Huat Huat...hahaha as frog said, we have got 4 matches to save the sunken ship~

After kbox, we went to starbucks at suntec city, drank some coffee, discussed abt the euro match between holland and russia and went home shortly after that...pictures will come soonnn...stay tuned!

Aiyo, I work up at 4 am to pee, tot abt it and decided to watch the second half of Croatia vs Turkey ...0 goals at 90 minutes, no drama or anything, really wasted my beautiful sleep on this match...but in the last minute of extra time croatia scored but with the last kick of the ball, the turkey equalised and its 1-1, we are heading in penalty kicks...kan chiong sia...

Met up with my primary school classmates for dinner at centrepoint earlier...it's been quite long since we met up...haha we chatted about those stuffs we used to do in primary school, like getting scoldings before remidial class due to the fact that the guys always sweat until very wet and smelly coz we soccer-ed before class, stealing of soccer balls from sports equipment room, how we won the inter class basketball in p5 and gt thrash in the round 1 of p6 etc etc...those were the daysss :) One of them is flying to aussie next month to further her studies and i truly wish her all the best and good luck over there :D

Was going home from work when i walked into OG and saw addidas sale, and on the wagon there was 2 white lebron james jersy going at 50%....whoa!!! i went in, dig like a mad man trying to find other nba jersys but to no avail and 1 person grab 1 of the james jersy so i have no choice but to grab it...hahhahahaha its my 1st jersy and at half price...its worth it...woohoo...now i understand deren's feeling of shopping...hope u dun mind i also gt the james jersy hahaha :) ...

Bs came over coz his friend gave him a zen stone, tt's very nice of his friend and transfer some songs from my laptop to his new mp3. Den we went balling, jus shooting but ended up play 2 matches with the neighbourhood ppl...it was great games although suffering 3 blisters ain't tt cool but overall its a happy day!

Came across this on the blog of my soccer clicks and i find it really meaningful and it applies to me so i decided to post it again with some changes made so here goes...

Friend - a person you know well and regard with affection and trust

Friends are hard to come by. Especially, "real" friends. We met by chance and fate played a big part in this. I took the chance and got to know a bunch of amazing people. Wonderful individuals with outstanding personalities. I grabbed hold of it and never let go because a chance like this might never come again. I cherish all of you.

Friends are amazing people. They will be by your side when you need them. At least, I know I would not be alone anymore. They keep me sane.

Fights are inevitable because of our differences. We do not share the same looks, personality, perceptions...The beginning was hard. There were a number of notorious events that took place. The famous of all? The throwing of chairs and tables, the scolding of @#$%^& over phone, the explosions we had on the basketball courts, the number of headbutts we butted out at each other etc etc. All of us were wounded...The quarrels were bad. It was a nightmare, torment. We know it was a misunderstanding yet our emotions got the better of us.

We chose to forgive and forget.We picked ourselves up and try to know one another better. We did not quit on each other. We hanged on and persevered. We seek ways to improve our relationship. More gatherings, hanging-outs, heart to heart talks. The money and time spent was worthwhile. We got to know one another better.We have put the past behind us.

We learnt from our mistakes. What is done cannot be undone. We cannot change the past. Time will still go on. It will not turn back. We can only look back and laugh at the mistakes we have made.

A wound will leave a scar behind. A scar evoke memories. Be it good or bad. Only time will tell. Overtime, when you look at your scar, it is not as obvious as it once was.

To all my friends out there, i am sorry if i have offended/hurt you all in the past, knowingly or unknowingly and also thank you for creating such wonderful memories with me as well. Let's keep this going :)

Been through a rollar-coaster ride of emotions yesterday, i am not going say about what happened but i am glad that everything is sorted out and cleared. At least for now i guess.

I will work hard and hopefully things will be back to the good old days again. It's just not worth to destroy it over such matter.

Badminton

Met eehan and keshia for badminton. I did not know that 1 hour of badminton could be so tiring...To think i was suggesting 2 hours of badminton for the 3 of us LOLS...now i have a blue black on my wrist, the forearm is aching, legs also aching...shoulders also...perhaps the reason is that i have not exercise for 2 weeks due to illness or not enough sleep during the week but badminton is really tiring.

I was like picking up shuttlecocks every 5 seconds becoz someone keep bully me ask me pick up shuttlecocks. But urs truely is a very nice person so i picked up all the shuttlecocks and smiled back :) . Tiring but fun and enjoyable.

After badminton, we went to the park behind the sports hall to have a mini picnic of meat palms ( ba zhangs) for dinner. And soon we ride home via eehan's car.

Wonder when my cough will recovered coz it's hindering me when i exercise. Cough syrup no use, drink 1/2 bottle still cough, liang cha with prescribed chinese medicine no use drink le still cough. How to stop coughingg ????

My colleague brought a vegetarian dumpling for me from his home. He said the dumpling got pray to the god and hopefully after i eat it, it will 保佑 me 平安 and everything 順利 when i enlist for army at Tekong.

I was really surprised but appreciated it alot. It's a really very nice gesture of him. It just made my day. I am a happy boy! Thank you very much, uncle Eric!

How he wished he is at home right now on the bed sleeping instead of staring at the numbers on the excel spreadsheet in office..........

Ah wei is really sleepy now and is finding ways and means to sleep in the office. Lol and ah wei told himself that he is not going to watch euros tonight becoz he wants to his precious sleep. Yawnzzz, time to sleep, goodnight!

What happened during the weekend

On sat, met up with the soccer gang and went to bugis 4 horse road to pray in the temple. Prayed 4 safety for family, friends and of course the upcoming enlistment to NS. After that we went to V8 cafe in bugis to have lunch. It was my 1st time there and i think its not bad. After eating, we went sntec to walk around and shop. As next week is Tian Chye's birthday, we went looking 4 present as well and went into Fossils and pretended to look for watches. Asked the sales person to tk out two of them and ask chye to try as he has no watch. He likes the black one which we all liked too and thus we bought on the spot for him. He was surprised but happy and appreciated it. It costs $275 but after discount it's $233.75. It's GSS man. Discount are here, there, everywhere. I also wanna shop!!! We went back to simpang bedok and eat the malay zhi char. It's nice delicious yummy. Shld go try, especially the roasted chicken. Den i went to my aunt's house to take ba zhangs for my mum as she went mahjong already. All this zhi char and ba zhangs gonna make me really voiceless soon but i dun care lah! It's delicious food, must enjoy!!! Den went home bath and met up with the soccer gang again and we went to my nephew house to watch euros 2008. Bad start for all of us, haha me frog chye roy and my nephew all lost some cash :(. LOLS. Came home today around 2pm. It's owaes so enjoyable going out with them as there will owaes be jokes, owaes so happy, so fun. Really enjoyed their company alot.

As for today, after reaching home and bath, went to meet louis, bs, yh, kevin for kung fu panda at TM. It was really a very funny movie, worth watching. Den mark joined us for dinner at Aijisen before we all came home. I am tired phsyically but msn is keeping me awake. Haha.

Dinner, Karaoke and Why rain????

Met up with keshia and iain last night and went east coast to eat. Haha...we ordered chicken wings, satays, o luah, fried prawn mee, porridge and 3 cups of sugar cane. Haven eat like this since falling sick. It was great and enjoyable with good company. And i wondered why an action to represent show hand can actually make someone laugh until stomach super pain. Was i that comical while doing the action? Hahahahaha i still cant figure out why she can laugh until she ask me not to repeat the action if not her stomach's gonna burst laughing. LOLS.

Then we went to some coffeehouse at the playground. I think is old house or old something. Cant remember. The coffee taste great there but the ximut milk tea i had, erm its too milky no taste of tea at all, like drinking a cup of full cream milk, yucks so like keshia said, i had to swallowed it down. Haha. We chatted for a while in the coffehouse before moving on because they are closing for business and sit by the beach and continued chatting. The sea breeze was really cooling. I think we could have chatted all the way if we did not go back to kampong chai chee cc to sing karaoke. Haha it was cheap as compared to kbox and party world but the quality is not as up there as those 2. However, it was enjoyable as it was iain's debut. He sang quite well. Aiseh. Keshia oso good. As for me, i sang until no voice lo. HAHAHA and again due to the 2 words 软弱 in a song i sang (inside joke) , she started laughing like mad again. Those 2 words are gonna huant me coz they are appearing quite often in sad songs. Haha.

After the singing session, iain sent us back home after that. Thanks for the ride :D Slept to 840am and was getting ready to go for soccer until i received an sms saying it's raining big, LOR TUA HOR zzz, cant play liao and now, i am at home watching doremon. LOLS.

My alarm clock was dead this morning and as a result, i overslept, woke up at 1015am and did not go to work again. I had to call office and tell them i am sick again. Haha

And i didn't know badminton courts are so hard to find until i tried to book one of the courts. Every community centres and sports hall i called all replied it's fully booked. And It seems that all the badminton courts are booked in a week's advance and 8 to 10 pm is the prime time. So i wil be kiasu and book a court for next week by today. Hahahaha.

A good song to intro. 复刻回忆 by 薛凯琪 and 方大同. It was first intro-ed to me by deren and i thought it was so so until i heard it again on tv today and saw the mv and i realised it's not that bad after all. Try it and see how you feel about the song :)

Boring Boring Weekends

I spent both saturday and sunday at home sleeping as i really duno what to do at home. Games are boring, nothing much to do online so i guess the best way to kill time for me is to sleep. So i slept from 1 to 3pm and woke up and realised i have nothing to do again so i went back to sleep till about 6pm when my handphone started ringing loudly as an sms came in saying badminton next friday? I replied and cant sleep anymore so came online, downloaded songs and watched tv.

Boring weekends. Maybe i will have to come up with something to entertain myself during the weekends. It's another working day tmr. zzzzzz

After 2 full days of mc and resting at home, i am back to work yet i still feel i am not 100% yet. Maybe 80% only. And as expected, there are so much stuff piling on my desk for me to work on. Looking at the pile of work will only make me more sick lols zzzz.

First, the neck and shoulders area are still aching and i cant find any reasons for it. Secondly, i am still coughing. So hopefully these 2 illness can faster heal so that i can be 100% again.

Met iain,louis and shijia on Friday after work in town for dinner. We went to mahattan fish market and ordered platters for 2. We talked alot during the dinner and after dinner. Topics included in our talk are dreams, goals , friendship, relationship, what will happen to us 10 years later etc etc. It was nice to listen to opinions of others and sharing your own views to them too. The whole talk made me think and reflect about my own life till now.

What will really happen 10 years down the road? Will i stick to my plan or will there be changes? I am not sure either but i will work hard, play hard and enjoy my life everyday. YEAH! Live for the moment while not forgetting to work hard towards the goals and dreams...

Sick

Woke up this morning at 8 am...my body was hot...i was coughing badly and my voice was sore...took a panadol and cough syrup before i went to work and now here i am in the office, feeling quite sick. Argh!

Office is also quite empty as 2 person are on mc and 1 just came back frm his mc. Seems like everyone is falling sick these few days. Maybe it will be my turn to be on mc tomorrow. hahahha.

Just came back from lunch and things are not getting better. In fact, i feel worst. Think i am gonna survive to 6pm and see a doctor tomorrow.

My boss was very nice as she asked me to go home and rest. I could not stayed on as i am really feeling very terrible at that point of time. The ride in the train felt so extremely long that i thought i was in the north pole for the period of time. So here i am on my bed covering myself with tons of blanket and jackets waiting for the clinic people to pick up the phone so that i can book an appointment with the doctor.

I feel weak all over.

Graudation Day

I met eleanor, yiwei, iain and louis in school for our lunch at mensa before proceeding to the convention centre for our graduation ceremony. Food at mensa was good as usual but i guess it's properly my last time eating there unless got people jio me back there to eat lols. A bird shitted on me during lunch. Luckily, i was wearing a causal polo tee instead of my formal wear haha. If not, it will look so ugly as there will be a patch of shit on the shirt. HAHA.

The ceremony started around 430pm and it was quite boring listening to those guests talking. Everyone agrees too. After all the talking, we finally get our chance to go up the stage and collect our diploma. Somehow it was quite nervy as so many pairs of eyes looked at u walking towards the principal to collect the diploma from him. What if u slipped and fall during the walk? lols After the collection, we went back to our seats and looked on as the rest of our school mates collected their diploma. Following that was a concluding speech by one of the fellow student and a dance by the TP group. And we were dismissed. Wheee officially graduated lo!!!

What an exciting match in which Man United beat Chelsea 6-5 on penalties to become the king of Europe!

Man United dominated the first half and Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 26min with a header from Wes Brown's inch perfert cross. Man United could have scored more through a quick counter attack which saw Rooney played a cross field ball to Ronaldo on the left and the winger cross in for Tevez who saw his flying heder saved by Cech and Carrick's follow up shot was also denied by Cech's quick reflexes. However, right before halftime, Chelsea got a lucky break and score the equalising goal through Frank Lampard. Essien's shot first took a deflection off Vidic and took another deflection off Ferdinand before it falls into the path of Lampard who makes no mistake to put the ball into the net. HT the scoreline reads 1-1.

In the second half, Chelsea geared up and dominated United and was unlucky not to take the lead when Drogba's curler from outside the box hit the post. United could not find anyway to beat Chelsea's defense in the second half. The match ended 1-1 and we go into extra time.

In extra time, both sets of players were cramping up as fatigue take its toll on them after 90 mins and it was a heavy pitch as heavy rain started pouring down. Lampard had a shot hitting the crossbar while Ryan Giggs who broke Sir Bobby Charlton's appearance record of 758 matches saw his shot cleared off the line by John Terry. I wondered what was Didier Drogba thinking when he was sent off for a petulant slap on Vidic right in front of the referee following a scuffle between the two sets of players. It finished 1-1 and we are heading into the penalties.

The first drama in the penalties came when Cristiano Ronaldo saw his kick saved by Peter Cech. Chelsea continued to score and it all came down to the last kick which John Terry steps up. Drama again as Terry sliped and his shot hit the post!!! And in the end, United celebrated thier victory as Edwin Van Der Saar saved Nicholas Anelka's spot kick.
